Spirit Airlines: Thanks for Nothing, Go Fuck Yourself
Thought I’d share a fun story about being screwed over by Spirit Airlines. Beware, they suck.
A friend and I had flights home from Vegas on Sunday. Spirit canceled the flight without notice. They refused to get us a rental car or travel on another airline. Best they offered was a flight at 1045am Monday or a refund at 1/2 the price of last minute tickets on Southwest. Oh, and some shitty hotel. The difference was $188.22. Why should I have to pay it?
The two people I talked to at the airport were assholes, even before I got angry. I tried to call customer service and was hung up on 3 times. The 4th I was transferred to a supervisor who I could hear breathing but never responded. At this point I was asking for names so, Ashley Miller (who’s apparently in charge of Spirit’s customer service floor), thanks for nothing. I’ll be disputing the charge with my CC company. Simply an unacceptable way to treat a customer.
